The Invoice Register



The invoice register lists all invoices/credit notes issued using QuickTrav Data Browser. To view the Invoice Register : File,

or

on the main menu bar.

Note: That the vertical bar allows for rows not shown on the current page (due to size restrictions) to be viewed. The horizontal bar allows for columns not shown on the current page to be viewed.

The following buttons can be used :

Create a New Invoice

Create a New Credit Note

Open the currently highlighted document (also [Enter] key or ‘double click’)
This delete button will only Void the currently highlighted invoice, if the status of the invoice is set to Busy and an export number has not been allocated. If the system requirements does not meet the criteria when the button is used, the following message will appear:

Copy the currently highlighted document to the clipboard
Open a new invoice / credit note and paste the contents in the clipboard into it. Note that the system provides for two types of Paste options:

Print the currently highlighted document.

Open the register Search Window.
Open the browse view manager
Display creation / last update information for the current document.
Close the Invoice Register (also [Escape] key)


Remember that advanced standard browser options are available by Right Clic king anywhere on the register:

Facility to export the current view to an external database file or MS Excel

This function is extremely handy, in quickly compiling a report to a customer without having to build a physical query. By ticking “Open in Microsoft Excel” and “Format Excel Workbook” the system will automatically open the export in Microsoft Excel and format all the columns and rows with column headers and totals.

If you have a report or list of information and want to calculate totals, you can use the Sum Total feature. A list of the items in your register with the totals will appear to give you a summary.

Windows Invoicing uses specific sort orders to arrange data according to the value, not the format, of the selected columns’ data.
