Quick Update February 2012

Quick Software has been busy with some exciting new development over this past year and we would like to let you know what we have been up to.

Automated bank reconciliation – Main module

We have automated the bank recon to not only import entries from the bank statement, but also to automatically allocate the entries based on pre-defined rules for receipts and payments and in addition it will also try and match the entry to the corresponding open items.

QuickTrav WebDocs

We have developed WebDocs, an online reporting tool designed to ease the burden of MIS reporting for busy travel agents.  WebDocs enables the corporate client to access all MIS reports online 24/7 in addition to copy documents such as invoices, credit notes, statements, car and hotel vouchers all in the same format as the original forms.  All ‘hidden’ mark-ups and service fees remain hidden in both the copy documents and reports.

WebDocs is managed and maintained by the Agency, no 3rd party hosting, Agents have complete control and can build / allocate reports per client requirement. 

Management/Consultant/ITC division/client modes allow management/consultants/ITC divisions/client access to their reports/vouchers/copy docs. Suppliers can access copy car and hotel vouchers for afterhours check-in’s etc.

BSP Billing Extractor

We have developed a Utility, that enables the QuickTrav user to download the agency billing from BSP link, in PDF format, and extract it into a text file format that can be imported into QuickTrav Invoicing, at the touch of a button. QuickTrav will then match the tickets captured in Invoicing to the payment file and produce a 'differences only' report / reconciliation, drastically reducing the time spent reconciling.ces only’ report / reconciliation, drastically reducing the time spent reconciling. 

Creditors / Cashflow Management – Main module .

Windows Main module offers powerful creditor management and now we have added functionality to assist with the management of cash flow, by checking the client / debtor balances when processing and viewing creditor payments. An extra column has been added to the payments allocation browse to reflect the debtors balance related to the creditor invoices. Users are warned if the debtor has not paid the invoice pertaining to the creditor payment. A creditor's payment analysis has been included in the query manager.

Consultant budgeting and reporting

We have added consultant turnover/income budgeting functionality, which enables each consultant to monitor their progress against the budget from within the invoicing modules 'My Budget' consol.  Management can monitor consultants using QuickTrav’s powerful query manager, which provides for summaries of an individual consultant's performance by document type, period, client, supplier and service type (displaying percentages of totals and averages) and includes optional detailed operational (invoicing) and adjustment (journals) listings.

Windows General Ledger

We released our Windows General Ledger in 2011 and have had a great response / feedback from our clients.  This modern 32 bit Win application offers exciting new functionality, but is similar in look and feel to its predecessor, which makes the transition to this new application simple with little or no training required.

Remote Access

There is an increased expectation for mobile solutions and  with bandwidth becoming less of an issue, we have noticed an increase in users working from home full time or off site and we commonly set up users to access their QuickTrav modules remotely.
